Product Description

 Different types of rubber compounds, along with their characteristics, typical properties, and applications:

 

1. NR (Natural Rubber) Compound

Characteristics: High elasticity, excellent tear resistance, wear resistance, fatigue resistance, and adhesive properties.

Typical Properties: High tensile strength (15-25 MPa), high elongation (400-800%), wide hardness range (30-90 Shore A).

Applications: Tires, shock absorbers, conveyor belts, hoses, footwear, gaskets, seals.

 

2. SBR (Styrene-Butadiene Rubber) Compound

Characteristics: Good wear resistance, aging resistance, ozone resistance, and processing performance.

Typical Properties: Moderate tensile strength (10-25 MPa), elongation (300-500%), hardness (40-70 Shore A).

Applications: Tires, shoe soles, conveyor belts, gaskets, seals, hoses.

 

3. BR (Butadiene Rubber) Compound

Characteristics: High elasticity, good low-temperature flexibility, wear resistance, and impact resistance.

Typical Properties: Tensile strength (15-25 MPa), elongation (400-600%), hardness (40-70 Shore A).

Applications: Tire treads, footwear, hoses, tapes, rubber products.

 

4. CR (Chloroprene Rubber) Compound

Characteristics: Excellent oil resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance, ozone resistance, and flame retardance.

Typical Properties: Tensile strength (15-25 MPa), elongation (300-500%), hardness (40-80 Shore A).

Applications: Protective clothing, seals, hoses, tapes, conveyor belts, rubber linings.

 

5. NBR (Nitrile Rubber) Compound

Characteristics: Oil resistance, wear resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance, ozone resistance.

Typical Properties: Tensile strength (10-25 MPa), elongation (300-500%), hardness (40-80 Shore A).

Applications: Oil seals, O-rings, hoses, tapes, fuel tank linings, seals.

 

6. IIR (Butyl Rubber) Compound

Characteristics: Good air impermeability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, aging resistance, ozone resistance.

Typical Properties: Tensile strength (10-20 MPa), elongation (300-500%), hardness (40-70 Shore A).

Applications: Inner tubes, seals, shock absorbers, corrosion-resistant linings.

 

7. FKM (Fluoroelastomer) Compound

Characteristics: Excellent high-temperature resistance, oil resistance, chemical resistance, aging resistance.

Typical Properties: Tensile strength (10-20 MPa), elongation (150-300%), hardness (60-90 Shore A).

Applications: Seals, O-rings, hoses, oil seals, fuel system components.

 

8. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber) Compound

Characteristics: Oil resistance, heat resistance, wear resistance, ozone resistance, aging resistance, excellent mechanical properties.

Typical Properties: Tensile strength (15-25 MPa), elongation (300-500%), hardness (50-80 Shore A).

Applications: Seals, hoses, oil seals, belts, automotive parts.

 

9. ACM (Acrylic Rubber) Compound

Characteristics: High-temperature resistance, oil resistance, aging resistance, ozone resistance, chemical resistance.

Typical Properties: Tensile strength (10-20 MPa), elongation (150-300%), hardness (40-80 Shore A).

Applications: Automotive oil seals, hoses, gaskets, belts.

 

10. ECO (Epichlorohydrin Rubber) Compound

Characteristics: Excellent oil resistance, ozone resistance, aging resistance, chemical resistance, flame retardance.

Typical Properties: Tensile strength (10-20 MPa), elongation (200-400%), hardness (50-80 Shore A).

Applications: Seals, hoses, fuel system components, wire and cable sheathing.

 

11. Acrylic (Ethylene Acrylic Rubber) Compound

Characteristics: High-temperature resistance, oil resistance, aging resistance, ozone resistance, oxidation resistance, chemical resistance.

Typical Properties: Tensile strength (10-20 MPa), elongation (200-400%), hardness (40-80 Shore A).

Applications: Automotive engine parts, oil seals, hoses, belts.
